Got myself some new wheels for the bmw e30 ! Work Meister M1.

I got myself some new wheels for my bmw e30 project.

Seems to be a pretty unique set, cause these were the first 17 inch meister m1 wheels ever made.

Very happy with these wheels, and can't wait to testfit them.

Nice looking wheels, quality wheels and special motorsport wheels...  I really enjoy collecting wheels. The latest set i bought, the BBS RE686, pretty rare wheels from a e46 btcc 320si.

Some nice pictures from a driftday with the good old 318ti e36 compact.

Some nice foto's about a driftday a while ago. I love to beat this little 318ti, and these cars can handle so much abuse. Even with the m42b18 motor, these things go pretty good on track.

Bought this axial yeti xl, and it looks like crap!

Yesterday i bought this axial yeti xl, and it looks absolutely awfull.
So today, i did made it a bit more proper and gave it some fresh paint straight from the rattlecan.

 I made it fluorized yellow, and i think this looks a lot better.
Still not perfect, but im gonna bash this thing hard,... so it doesnt need to be that pretty.

Looking well used !

I broke the HPI 5SC Flux baja within 10 minutes.

The first time i drove this thing, i broke it within 10 minutes.

Because these brushless cars are so fast, i just over-jumped and landed it on a treetrunk.
One of the wheels came off, and it was the end of the fun.

But!!

I'm just gonna fix this thing, and bash it again till it breaks !!!

Broke the axle.

Getting the broken one, and a good one out of the car.
The good one, i need for measuring, and making a new one.
Already made a rough shape for the new one.

Milling the flat surfaces on the axle.

Milling it, to take the dogbone axles in it.

Looks like it ! Fits very nice.

Bearings, fit, so it's good to go !

Everytime i drive or ride something, i break something.

A little while ago i start doing some radio controlled car racing again.
Long time ago i stopped this expensive hobby, but i still loved it... so i bought one again..., and actually bought a 2nd one 2 wheeks later already.

Sh*t escalates so fast ! haha.

Front Strut Tower Reinforcement Bmw E36

I made this strut tower reinforcements for a friend, and it turned out to be pretty popular.

So, i just made a few extra sets.

I also show some pictures, about these reinforments on one of my own cars.

I made 3 dimples in the plates, to make them lighter and stronger.

These kind of reinforcement plates a common find on the bmw e30 convertible models also, but they are hard to find for the e36 models.

My newest project bmw e36 compact 2.8 24v 328ti

This is my newest project.
It's a 316i compact, but it's gonna get another engine ofcourse.
This car hopefully will be a pretty serious and fast racecar in the future.
I'm not sure what the exact engine spec's gonna be, but right now i have a m52b28 engine with some upgrade laying around.

You guys like to see some updates about this one ?

 Fitting the new bonnet/bumper.

 Removed all kind of stuff i don't need anymore, the car needs to be as light as possible ofcourse.

 Still need to make wide fenders in the front.

 Soon i post some better pictures of the re686 bbs wheels.
