Bought some decoration material from castrol, and some tools :)

I like the oldskool motor oil cans,

A nice belt sander, perfect tool when doing sheet metal work.

A digital multimeter,

My 86 corolla is gonna be low and wide,

Because my hachi is in pretty bad shape, i decided to make it ready to run and have fun.
I'm gonna mount some wide fenders, 14/15 inch wheels, and make it just one bad ass hachi roku.
Because the car is painted very very bad, i decided to sand the car and gif it some new paint.

It's definatly not going to be some show car, but i'm gonna use it were it's made for.... Having fun :)
I bought some parts, i owned the parts some years ago when i had another hachiroku.
Unfortunatly i crashed the other ae86, and i sold it.
But now i finally have another hachi, and i bought some of my old parts back.
I bought some polyester front fenders, cause the old ones were in very bad shape.
Also got another tailgate, and also a set of wide fenders. ( very wide ).

Also i bought some ''blindklinknagels'' or rifnuts, to attach the fenders to the car.
The nuts are mad from aluminium and they have m6 thread.

Also bought a tool, which i'm gonna use for level the 4a-ge swap in the 82' carina.

Some pictures of the parts, and the rifnut tool and other tools,

The tailgate and the front fenders fitted inside the trunk of my ta60 carina.

Did some welding,

Welding some new sheet metal in my girlfriends celica gti 4a-ge 16v.
Almost done, now i'm gonna make it ready for some paint and the car will be ready for mot again.

Cleaning the 4a-> t50 bellhousing ( carina 4age swap )

I bought a 5 speed t50 gearbox which came from a toyota corolla ae86 ( rear wheel drive ).
there was also a bellhousing attached to it, which i need for my carina 4a-ge swap.

When i was cleaning the t50 gearbox i discovered a crack in the housing,
So maybe i can't use the gearbox, but i still can use the bellhousing.
The 1982 carina also uses a t50 5 speed, so i can attach the 4age on it with this bellhousing.

First it was like this.

Then i start cleaning the bellhouse ( lots of work )

And now it's ready to use for my 4a-ge 16v swap for my toyota carina.

The 4a-ge 16v i am going to swap in the carina, is still in my toyota ae82 gt.
I drove it like 4/5 years ago, and the engine is still going strong.
I'm going to clean the engine and doing some more mod's before i swap it into the carina.
There are some video's were you can hear the sound of the engine.
I couldn't upload both video's, so i just put the youtube link here and there is another video underneath.

And also this one, it's a soundcheck recorded in dark.

Bought some new tools

I bought some nice new tools,
This tool is a mold, i use this when i work with sheet metal.

This is a 20mm belt sander.
I bought this, cause my electric belt sander broke down and this new tool uses cool air to operate... so there is no electic-motor which can overheat. Very very nice tool for deburring your sheetmetal or parts. And ofcourse with old cars, it's very nice to remove rust. There are also polishing belts available.

heat wrapping and shifter mods

The shifter didn't had any thread on it, so i cut the top piece off.. and i welded some thread on it.
Now i can screw almost every shift knob on it now.
I fitted my lancer evo 4 shift know, cause i bought a ralliart one for the Evo.

I did clean it, and put some new greese in it.
Works fine again! i am happy with it.

I heat-wrapped the downpipe, and the front part of the midd section.

I don't have pictures of the wrapped excaust yet.

Also i mount a hks mushroom filter on the car, and i mount the battery correctly.
A lot of other things i did to make the car safer... like removing the ugly pedals.

Working on the ae86.

There were/are some problems, and they need to be solved.

The biggest problems:

* The floor is getting very very hot, cause the excaust is underneath it... and the isoliation material is removed. On the way back home, it almost melt my shoes off.

* The shiftknob, was a very awfull one .. and it fell of the shifter all the time.

* There were some ugly pedals mount on the original pedals, it was very dangerous cause they were that close to each other sometimes i stepped on 2 pedals.

* There was a dirty and ugly aircleaner mount to the engine, but it wasn't mounth correctly and the rubber connectors were broken also.

I bought a toyota corolla coupe gt twin cam ( ae86 ) again

I found this little ae86 corolla for sale on the internet.
I did own a ae86 before, but i crashed it and i sold it.
Now i found one again, and i was able to buy my dream car again.
There is a nice high rpm 4a-ge 16v engine in it, and the seller told me the engine was rebuild, and it has also a TRD flywheel and TRD camshafts.

I actually didn't believe there are trd cam's in it, but a wheek after i bought it , i found out the car was actually tuned. There was a orgininal ecu in the car, but there also was a little black box underneath it, and there was http://www.tdsl.nl on it. So, i visit the site and i found out it was actually a tuning company.... so maybe there is some nice cam-shafts in it ? ( the flywheel is really light, that's for sure ) Actually i didn't try to rev the engine very high jet, cause i want to fix some problems before i really gonna use the little 4age. But i already found out, the rev limiter is on a very very high rpm.

I made some phone pictures, and you can see the car is not really a pretty one.
There is no interior in it, and the car has a really bad paintjob, but i don't care ?? cause it's a 86 :) and it's so much fun to drive.

This is the car at the previous owner house.

On the way back home, i need to pump up the tires.

Home again.

Ruspa italy wheels, in 4x114,3 ?? rare wheels in the netherlands i gues?
